Clear, practical training and specialist nursing support that builds confidence, competence, and safer care.

Families, schools, carers, and care providers are often expected to support complex medical needs with limited practical training. That can create uncertainty, stress, and inconsistency in care.

Expertise You Can Trust

Our aim is to provide high-quality, practical training and specialist nursing support that enables carers, professionals, and families to safely support individuals with complex health needs.

Training is designed to be clear, practical, and relevant to real-life care environments, ensuring participants leave with the confidence and competence to apply their skills in practice.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE CARE

Dan Kitchener

Director & Paediatric Epilepsy Nurse Specialist

I’m Dan Kitchener, a Paediatric Epilepsy Clinical Nurse Specialist and Independent Nurse Prescriber with over six years of experience supporting children and families with complex health needs. My clinical work spans emergency care, acute paediatrics, and specialist epilepsy services, where I manage complex cases, develop individualised care plans, and support both patients and professionals with evidence-based guidance. Alongside my NHS role, I founded Healthicity to provide practical, high-quality training for carers, schools, and healthcare providers—bridging the gap between theory and real-world care. I’m passionate about improving outcomes through clear, compassionate education, empowering others with the skills and confidence to deliver safe, effective care.
